Because it's limited to one page, a well-designed dashboard contains only the most important information about that context. For more detailed information and granular deep dives, users can view related reports and metrics.

Dashboards are one of the main features of PrediktAI. You can't create dashboards on mobile devices, but you can view and share them there.

Dashboard basics

The different visualisations or tiles you see on the dashboard are called widgets. You can click on a widget to access the related detailed information in reports. Each report is based on a semantic model. A dashboard is a 360º bird-view for the underlying reports and semantic models. Selecting a widget takes you to the report and semantic model that it's based on.

The widgets on a dashboard can come from one underlying semantic model or many, and from one underlying report or many. All users with a license can filter dashboards and reports data to share a customised view of our pre-built dashboards and reports. For more advances use cases that are not covered by our built-in dashboards, you can request a new dashboard or you can create a completely customised new one.
